Rotor Blade Designs
With a sound knowledge of the aerodynamics and structural aspects of rotor blades, We4Ce is able to deliver rotor blade designs respecting a correct balance between aerodynamics, structural design, and production processability. The optimum is different and tuned for each new design depending upon customer wishes and requirements.
‘Total Cost of Ownership’ is the driving factor in the design process and We4Ce always keeps this in focus when discussing with both the blade manufacturer and the turbine manufacturer.
Since the start of We4Ce in 2008 more than 40 rotor blade designs are engineered, from 900kW 23meter blade length to 14MW 108meter blade length. For generic designs, see Portfolio.
With all documentation complete, drawings and testplans for static and fatigue testing available, We4Ce can be present during the proto blade production at customers premises to ensure a smooth startup. If wished for, We4Ce can combine this with training of the workforce.
At the end quality assurance, effective production and a low cost approach is essential.
